What you do in Foxy Act

🎨

Drawing

Get a word, draw it on your screen, your team guesses. Plus a blind variant where you draw without seeing your own sketch.

🙊

Taboo

Describe a word without using the forbidden terms. A classic — now with auto-shuffled lists.

🤸

Charades

No sound, no drawing — just your body. Timer ticks, team shouts, someone loses their composure first.

🤔

Who am I?

You don't know what you are, the others do. Ask yes/no questions and figure out who or what you represent.

Speed

Guess against the clock. Explain as many words as possible to your team in a short window — highest score wins the round.

📞

Telephone

First player draws, second guesses, third draws player 2's guess. After 5-6 rounds, see how far the signal drifted.

Teams, duo or who-am-I

Teams (4+): two teams, points for correct answers. The classic party setup, works for 4 to 12 players. Team names are picked from 12 random duos.

Duo (3+): everyone duels. Smaller groups? Duos rotate so you partner with everyone at least once.

Who-am-I solo (2-5): pure guessing — each player gets 2-5 turns to figure out what they represent.

Online lobby works in the browser with a short room code (e.g. MIME-AB34). No download, no account. For voice- and mime-heavy rounds we recommend a separate video call (Zoom, Discord, FaceTime) — we deliberately don't stream video in-app.

Taboo, drawing & mime online — your questions

What is Foxy Act?

A digital party game with six classic round types: drawing, taboo, charades, who-am-I, speed guessing and telephone. You mix them up across an evening.

How many players can join?

Two to twelve. Teams works from 4 players (2 vs 2), Duo from 3, Who-am-I from 2. Telephone needs at least 3 players.

Can I play remotely over the internet?

Yes — online lobby with a room code. Drawing, blind-drawing and telephone work fully remote. For charades/taboo/speed (voice needed), use a separate video call (Zoom, Discord) — we deliberately don't stream video.

Is it an alternative to Pictionary or Activity?

Yes — Foxy Act covers the board-game classics like Pictionary (drawing), Activity (drawing/charades/describing), 30 Seconds (speed), Taboo and Who Am I all in one app. No cards to lose, no kitchen timer required.

Is Foxy Act kid-friendly?

Yes. Word lists are curated as family-friendly; drawing and charades work from age 6. The more abstract words in taboo and speed are better from around age 10.

Is Foxy Act free?

Yes, completely free during alpha. Local play stays free forever. Online hosting moves to an affordable subscription later — joiners will still play for free.
