How to play Foxy Hunt

🔓

Escape Room — co-op, 1-6 players

No culprit, just puzzles. Code locks, ciphers, UV lamps, mirrors, slide puzzles and timelines. Work together, crack the scene before the timer runs out.

🔍

Mystery — whodunnit, 3-6 players

One player secretly gets the killer's role. Clues are distributed, alibis checked, puzzles solved. The rest interrogates, votes and tries to unmask the killer — while they bluff and plant false evidence.

🕵️

Double Agent — missions, 3-10 players

1 to 3 agents hide in the team and sabotage missions. The rest must complete missions successfully and identify the mole(s). Trust no one fully.

🐺

Wolves — day/night, 3-10 players

Social deduction, Werewolves-style. At night the wolves eliminate a player; during the day the group debates and votes. Bluff, read faces, survive.

Settings for every mood

Pick a scenario and start. Classic whodunnit in a manor or castle, thriller on a cruise ship or a train, escape room in a bunker, museum or space station, sabotage at a festival, inside an embassy, a circus, an amusement park or even a reality-show finale.

Every scenario brings its own characters, secret motives, alibis, puzzles and plot twists. New to Foxy Hunt? Start with the bakery tutorial to learn the flow and puzzle types.

Online murder mystery — common questions

What is Foxy Hunt?

A digital murder mystery game combining Cluedo, escape rooms and social deduction (Among Us, Werewolves). You solve a case together — or are secretly the killer or saboteur bluffing your way through.

How many players do I need?

It depends on the mode: Escape Room runs solo or up to 6, Mystery needs 3 to 6, Double Agent and Wolves scale from 3 to 10. Five or six is usually the sweet spot for Mystery.

What's the difference between Double Agent and Wolves?

Double Agent revolves around missions: 1 to 3 agents sabotage puzzles and tasks while the rest tries to land them successfully and spot the mole. Wolves follows a day/night cycle à la Werewolves — wolves eliminate a player at night, the group debates and votes during the day.

How long does a session take?

Escape Room typically runs 30-45 minutes. Mystery lasts 45-75 minutes depending on how many phases and puzzles a scenario contains. Double Agent and Wolves are flexible: a fast round in 20 minutes, a full evening if you want.

What kinds of puzzles show up?

Code locks, ciphers (Caesar/substitution), anagrams, logic grids, slide puzzles, timelines, connections, testimony contradictions, UV lamps, colour filters, mirrors and stencils. Some puzzles are co-op: two players each hold half the info.

Is it similar to Among Us or Werewolves?

Double Agent shares DNA with Among Us, Wolves is literally a digital Werewolves variant. The difference with Foxy Hunt: there's real deduction info to reason about (evidence, alibis, timelines, puzzles) and Mystery mode leans closer to Cluedo than pure guess-and-vote.

Is Foxy Hunt free?

Yes, completely free during alpha. Local play and joining someone else's lobby stay free forever. Premium scenarios and hosting move to an affordable subscription later.
